While giving the appearance of a vertical waterfall when it rains, rain chains are easy to install and last a lifetime without maintenance. The Japanese have used "kusari doi" or rain chains for hundreds of years, however their use was more for gathering
water than shedding water from the roof to a drainage system.

Rain chains by Steve are hand-crafted by Steve in his workshop in Aptos, California. Each rain chain is unique within itself, rolled from 16 oz. copper sheets, the
same gauge as used in copper gutters on homes, to form the creative original rain chain designs.
A rain chain from Steve can be custom made; made up of double links, lilies, koi or whales. The rain chains made by Steve are his own unique designs, not copies of other mass-produced rain chains and are available from Rain Chains by Steve with natural copper or patina finish (patina add $49.00). Since Rain Chains by Steve are hand-made the design can be modified for every application and created exactly to fit you needs.
